SmileyWorld wanted to strengthen its brand presence in Japan by refreshing its image and making it more relevant to younger generations.
We created a pop-up gallery in Shibuya featuring 10 artists popular among Gen-Z and millennials. Each artist produced an original artwork offering a contemporary interpretation of SmileyWorld.
The event, designed as a meeting point between the brand, artists, and media, was amplified through a social media activation and a PR release, helping reposition SmileyWorld with a fresh, creative, and culturally relevant image.
